OP, has anyone messed with the coolant lines on your car??
Not that I know of. I've owned it since 07' and it only had 7,000 when purchased. But from what James (chevycobaltss3) said the 05' was all fucked up in many diff ways. I'm guessing this hose is one of many. Lol. From the way yours looks I should be able to hammer it over a lil and make it fit. Hopefully.

This is very true. Lots of little things in different positions. I wouldn't say it's fucked up tho. In the 05's there a bolt that rubs the cooling line going over the super charger, check that for wear, and if its making contact, tie it back. In the 06 and up it's rounded off an fixed.

This is why I let my buddies shop do my exhaust work... I ******* hate dealing with this. I have more money that patience when it comes to jamming your knuckles and hammering off old exhaust parts etc.

I went out yesterday and tried to rotate it with no luck. Then proceeded to hitting it with a rubber mallet and now it fits like a charm. Haha. BFH ftw.

Well, at least you were smart enough to use a rubber mallet.

I kno there are some dum dums on here that would use a regular hammer, haha.

Glad it worked out for ya.

Mine is an 05 and we did not have any issues installing a bad mab or pace setter header.

I really haven't had any issues that were not self inflicted other than a coil pack going bad at 48k.

I think that it all falls back to maintenance.

U don't have the infamous screw digging into your intake? Or the short door leather on the passenger side? I think I've had every single problem that people complained about in 05'

Your always trolling ****. Lol. It's your fault cause you tuned it. Lmao. Always blame it on the tuner. It runs awesome now with the new header tho.

I did have the screw deal, but I consider that a self inflicted problem. The screw was not an issue with the stock intake. Rubber vacuum cap and that issue was fixed. no issues with the passenger side door.
