problem want you opinions

Well it snowed and iced alot today and yesterday. I threw a code while driving in the crap. Im guessing the maf got wet. I didnt have a chance to get it scanned yet to see what the code but i did have to take a quick drive to the store to get dinner tonite i jumped on it in second gear and noticed as i came up to redline i started losing boost. Any chance it might have something to do with the CEL. just wondering

maybe, maybe not. can't tell without the code. what you're basically saying is "something happened, what is it". get that code scanned in the morning and post it up.

you can get codes from most new chryslers by cycling the key 3times, it will read the P---- code in the milage.

yeah i know i should have the code read lol. I work overnight and ive been sick so i really didnt get out of the house till after 10pm so autozone was closed but im off tonite. So the plan is to get the code read later today. I was also wondering though is boost bleed off common on this cars past the stock pulley. I have been reading on this forum and it seems some what common. Do you guys reccomend the boost bypass mod or not.

if your loosing boost at redline your belt could be slipping what mods do you have and a clogged cat would cause a code

all i have at the moment is gm stage and a injen cold air.

Well i had the code checked. It was a p0172 running rich so i had them clear it again and within 15 minutes of driving it. So i guess im just going to have to live with it. Hopefully my zzp 2.9 pully might help and lean it up some. What do you guys suggest plus it is still bleeding boost around redline it from about 6000 rpm it drops from 15 to about 11-12 is that normal on these cars. I really cant recall watching the gauge all the way to redline before the other day.
