Stock pulley is 3.35"

You can safely run a 3.0 pulley and use 1 step colder plugs gapped to .040"-.042". I ran that for 6 months no issues and a friend of mine ran that setup for over a year before stage1 and 2 came out. To be a lil safe piece of mind, you could stop at 3.1". I recommend ZZP pullies and hub.

if you're stock, the extra boost form a smaller pulley will just get bled off, you'll just reach 12-12.5psi faster

Only partially true. There is a hose heading back from the bypass valve to a littel box, pull it off from the back of the box that it leads to and plug it with a screw. That will stop excess boost from bleeding off. I forgot to add that part. if you need alil more info, look up "boost bypass mod"
