Pulley Install - Stage 2 to 3
Pulley Install - Stage 2 to 3
Just a quick question. I have the stage 2 and I just got the stage 3 pulley to go on it. Do I have to do anything like disconnect the battery or anything to install the new pulley. Also, is there a how-to or anything to install it. Im sure its easy, I am just not sure how to get the belt off using the tensioner. Thanks a lot. Appreciate it.

Yeah, I saw that but it didn't say what torque to tighten the bolts with either. I was just wondering if anyone has done this yet to see what they did. Thanks a lot.
anyone put the stage 3 on with the stage 2 set up?

Bolts get tightened to 15ft/lbs, thats from the stage 2 manual. I'd do it in a cris/cross pattern.

OK. Thanks man. I thought it was somewhere around 10-15. I'm just wondering if I should disconnect the battery while I do it so it can relearn. I never did that when I did the airbox mod. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea.
dont know if it was just the dealer i brought it too...
but my stage 2 bolts were on the TIGHT.. i believe they impacted them on there
so you might wanna look into new bolts and/or a pulley from nherbst454
