pulley question

Hey guys, I bought my balt a few months ago, 06 ss/sc and noticed it has a 2.8 zzp pulley on ot, but it hits like 12 pounds of boost, turns out the owner before never upgraded the injectors or anything else prpbably thinking a pulley alone would increase boost, anyway I would like to switch back to a stock pulley, and will gladly trade anyone with a stock pulley my zzp of they know what they're doing and can swithc them out fr me...I don't wanna be running lean so I want to do this asap thanks!

Again with this?

So you still driving around with way too small injectors on that pulley.
That motor is probably not very healthy anymore.

The pulley alone does increase boost.

Injectors and a tune have no effect on boost levels (other than boost reduction in a selected gear) on a roots type supercharger.

If you in fact have the stock injectors (green tops / 34#), than remove the 2.8 asap.

Yikes. Surprised the car is still running.

The stockers are near maxed on the stock pulley.

OP, stay out of boost until you get the correct size pulley or injectors for your car.

im busy this weekend but i can text ya next week, post up some pics of the car, i wonder if i have seen it around.

Where are ya located ?

I have HP tuners as well so we can do a log and see how bad the car is.

Also, if you have a 2.8 with the zzp hub it will be so much easier to buy a stock size pullye from zzp to just bolt on, if you put the stock pulley back on you need to pull the hub its just easier to bolt the other pulley on.

Another thing is, you can keep the 2.8 but you need bigger injectors, and have zzp write you a tune and i can flash it to ur car via my hp tuners. All up to you and your plans and $$
