Being that the cobalt runs really rich can you put a 3 in pulley on a stock tune and have it be okay and if you get stage 2 can you put a 2.9 or 2.8 pulley on that tune and have it be okay?

I am running a 2.85 right now. Car does not like it so much but it works. 238.8whp and 220wtq. Was getting codes the first few days now the computer seems to pull timing....still feels better than stage 2 pully....just not "perfect".
