Can you run 42lbs injectors with a 2.8 pulley? I know cobalt addiction does with there tunes is that safe or does it require 60's? Thanks

 

if it were me man i would just spend the extra money now and get 60 lbs injectors. mainly because if you ever want to go with a smaller pulley you will already have them. 2.7 is where you need to go with 60 pounders. plus i went with 60 pounders with a 3.0 pulley and my fuel mileage went up by about 4 miles per gallon.

 

Oh man you are going to get flammed for this one, better suite up. lol. But some will say you can w/a good tune and some will say no. I personally would not do it bc i dont think its safe. If your really set on getting the 2.8" pulley, save yourself the trouble n get the 60lbs.

 

i wouldnt recommend it , but there are as many people running 2.8 with 42lbers as there are people running 60lbers with a 2.8 its all personal preference

 

like i said man i would just spend the extra 50 bucks and get 60's. that way if you ever go with a smaller pulley they are already there

these threads are about a 2.85 pulley but it gives you and idea on the pros and cons and things to look out for.

 

there is a new thing, called search. this must be new thing. because frankly. seeing all of these threads about the same **** day in and day out is getting old.

i understand that people are asking valid questions, or they are new to this world. but damn. when i see two threads asking the exact same thing right next to each other. something is wrong.

 

I've already run my 42# injectors with a 2.6" pulley boosting exactly 19,5 PSI at a 12,0 AFR @ 6500 RPM. I think duty cycle was at the 100% limit.
