Well let me run this by you whenever I had my 2.9" pulley on with the stage 2 belt I got slip and I checked it over and over and it seemed like it wasn't off the pulleys at all...and the tensioner was fine...what was the problem haha?

No...met is for something like Lsj's setup though you could and get extra hp like lsj said...though I believe a cobra h/e and intercooler plate would be sufficient...you will need it in the summer months trust me.

def recommend both mods like lp said, doing them at the same time is nice to. Saves you some extra plumbing

a decent amount of what is out there, lets be honest not every car out there runs 13's. I would say alot of stock cars in our class per say, srt4 evo sti gt mustang and a few others

with supporting mods like the exhaust as mentioned and the h/e you should be making right at 255-260 hp...you should be able to keep up with quite a bit..not sure because there are so many makes and models of vehicles..though you will be able to beat a stage 2 srt-4 I assume and probably some evos and deffintly stock/mildly modified mustangs...and if you can launch the car worth anything you would be in the 13.6-13.8 e.t. range according to the elevation you are at.

yep, just don't beat on your car often or back to back to back, the best tunes can't make egt's magically lower under heavy load

very slow @ unbelivably fast lol

the car is still a work in progess and has only been on bald pireilli's so no good times yet.

Last time with a blown maf 14.3 @107+ short shifting first at 3k and on and off the throttle to try to get traction.

This spring should be better, going back with some more mods.

mods at the time were

2.5" s/c pulley : intense hub
60# injectors
casper wiring harness
step colder autolite cooper plugs
cti longtube header 1 3/4" primaries 3" collector
cti 3" catless downpipe
dual pass heat exchanger ( ran in lin with the stock one)
dual pass intercooler endplate
extra surge tank for coolant
hp tuners tuned
driveshaft shop stage 2 axles
k&n drop in filter
tranny mounts
cab's
hurst sts

Mods now

2.5" s/c pulley : intense hub
60# injectors
casper wiring harness
step colder autolite cooper plugs
cti longtube header 1 3/4" primaries 3" collector
cti 3" catless downpipe
dual pass heat exchanger ( ran in lin with the stock one)
dual pass intercooler endplate
extra surge tank for coolant
hp tuners tuned
driveshaft shop stage 2 axles
rebel 3" intake
ls4 tb
ported blower
3" catback
tranny mounts
cab's
hurst sts
245/50/16 nitto 555r's
Devils own progressive meth injection kit (2.5 gallon trunk mounted tank)

I am also currently porting the head and getting some parts together maybe doing a ported head and cams in the summer not sure though.

12.3~12.5 at 113~115 that is with the ported head for sure, im just not sure about the cams yet.

Like i said though i put a lot of money into the car but most is supporting mods to go fast. The car is a blast on the roll, but a bitch from a dig.

just a idea of what its like

yeah, you should be fine. A cobra h/e would not really hurt though and they are only like 80

you can get a h/e off a 03/04 cobra for 80 and plumbing is 20, then you need to make brackets 10. Thats how much it would cost you, or if you went my way like 200. I like mine becuase its huge like the c/a one but i did not have to pay out my ass for it

Techincally yes, anything that will reduce pressure will reduce heat, ie a nice flowing echuast will drop a few psi but will make more power and generate less heat, same goes with a ported head and blower

i used to hit 22.5 on my 2.5" pulley now i do 19.5 with my lt header and 3" dp. So yes you will drop boost but, you will be making more power more efficently
