to the guys that pulled their motor, did your go up through the top, or down with the sub-frame? on my buddy's camaro we just take it out with the sub frame, but i dont know which way would be easier with this car. also, did you leave the head on or did it have to come off. it doesnt look like it needs to come off, but you never know. any help would be awesome.

 

Remove the ehxaust manufold, and the intake manifold. Then un bolt from the tranny, and pull the engine through the top.

This is the most common way.
