Quaife LSD

I've read a few posts on this, but can't find one post on exactly what i'm looking for.

I don't have the LSD, but am looking at buying Red/black recaro's and a quaife, which is what my question is about. From what i understand, it would be best to do clutch/flywheel/LSD all at the same time. Now how hard/mechanically inclined would you have to be to install the LSD/clutch/flywheel and how many hours would it take? (questimate please!) If not able to do by myself, could i go to any tranny shop and have them do it, and if so, about how much to install? (once again, guestimate) i priced a quaife and it's $1,445 alone so for those of you that want to order, go w/ G85!

I'm asking because i want to price exactly how much it'll be for two seats, brackets, LSD/clutch/flywheel and install. Thanks everyone!

LSD = 1,500
Clutch= 375
Fly wheel = 325
seets = 1,200
Brackets = 0. (The ones you have will work)
Install if trany parts = 1,750

Total = 5,150.00

You could to the clutch and fly wheel your self. Your looking at about a 10 hours job depending on your shop and scill level.

The diff you will need specal tools and a press to do. Along with needing to know how to take apart a trans and put it back together and still have it work. (Not as easy as it may sound)

That should be close.

well the seats you can def do yourself as far as the flywheel, clutch, LSD theres a lot to kno and find out...small things from torque specs to aligning a cluch to actually installing the LSD. and the pricing listed above by bad munkey are pretty accurate but i think gm's kit is 1,500 for the seats and the lsd cuz its a package... good luck
