It's just different, and people cry at different. We drive saturns, we all are used to the hate lol.

I wouldn't personally run a setup like that on my car, but I can appreciate the idea behind it and the simplicity but effectiveness.

if its done right its more effective then an air to air setup guys running blow through carbs see 300deg at top of hat and 140deg 1in below the carb running e85 and et wise are just as fast or faster then intercooled setups

the stock blower manifold is a good piece and often over looked because it is not cool looking

nicks not putting a blower back on

I never argued that. I know the facts. I'm also not a drag car that makes 2,000+ HP. I will make baby power compared to a lot of guys around, and I'm not worried about any lag. I've been around plenty of "big turbo" street cars, and have a certain way I wan't mine to be, from the performance, to the looks, to the uniqueness, and extensiveness. Also, I just told my car a long time ago when the meth failed and the motor lived that I would never put any sort of injection on it ever again. I also like to make things really intricate, which is probably apparent lol. Even if I were to run something like that, the piping would be under the engine, which would damn near negate the idea.

I'm not knocking it at all, so don't take it that way. It just isn't my personal choice.

Just wondering, how come you are only going 3" with the intake and 2" with the CP?

Also I'm just like you, on 8-9 lbs currently Don't know why the hell there is such a small gate spring in there, but that will be solved shortly.

2" with CP is small man, I would look to do 2.75" if anything, and maybe think about a 3.5" intake. Anything bigger gets tough to tune

I'm building a 4" intake, but I'm not draw through.

Also, I have a MAF extension laying around if you need Nick.

There is absolutely no gain to making the charge pipe bigger than the turbo outlet. All that does is increase the volume that needs to be filled and decreases velocity. As for the intake, the compressor is a 3" inlet, so no real gain going bigger there since it would be quite the feat to smoothly transition from 4-3.

If you have a 2.5" outlet, use 2.5. Simple.

For some reason I thought you had 2.5 or 3" outlet Alan. And I didn't even know Precision made the 5862 with a 3" inlet. I would have thought it was 4" like the 5858.

My inlet is 3" and outlet is 2" so basically everything alan just said, no point in going bigger. And I'll take you up on that maf extention, pretty sure I'm getting my meth pump from rice
