I drove mine nice for 1000miles....i did get on it once in awhile before 1000miles but not too bad. after that i did reved it up good and played with the clutch.

on mine i noticed that i only hit the ~12.5 when you are around 5500rpm's...

I didn't see 12.5 on mine until about 1500-2000 miles when i really jumped on it.

i dont think you understand the principle here a vaccum such as outer space would be 0kpa, the air itself is 14.7psi therefore when your engine is not in vaccum and not in boost you would be at 105kpa

1 bar is 14.7 psi this is why one bar map sensors cannot read boost they dont go any higher than atmosphere pressure

2 bar maps do not read higher than 14.7psi but have a range of 29psi

and of course 14.7psi is around 105kpa so in order to make boost you have to be above atmosphere pressure hence why in HP tuners your map sensor would read 180kpa or so when your seeing around 10-12psi on your boost gauge

so maybe you should check your conversion scales and read up on the topic

You might want to look at the cat then if its hitting close to 15 psi stock . When i was stock i didnt see 12.5 psi until the car had 3500 miles on it , kinda weird but true .

I don't see what the problem is. I have read that 10.5 psi stock is normal. I was getting exactly that. I see 15-16 psi with the stage 2 & honed manifold now.

10.5psi stock is ok depending on location and if you're gauge is off. At higher elevations you will see lower boost..I'm at sea level so my boost is always on the higher end

there is no such thing as a break in on the blower. the new gen v blowers have a coating that pretty much allows them to "break in" the first time they spin hard. is it really warm or moist where u live?

dont feel bad though, i have a 2.5 pulley on my car and still only put down about 15 psi, 16-17 if i really work the gears.

The break in being referred to is ECM related, not an actual physical break in. (I think.)

I wouldn't worry about it. Mine read about 10.5psi as well..even after being broken in. More than likely it's the gauge itself. When I switched to my Aeroforce gauge it read right around 12.3psi.

Best thing...take her to the track. I ran a 14.1 at "10.5"psi according to the gauge.

Why does everyone worry about stock boost levels?? You can't adjust it, so deal with it. If the car is running bad or good, that is different. But to complain about what the guage says.... c'mon.

and ya well u know what we're not IN SPACE and maybe u should check a canadian boost gauge then cause 180kpa would b 27psi basically aorund there...so seriously think about EARTH...or else what i can just go around saying o yea im boosting 27psi...ya? prove it u take a look at my gauge and see what it says ..who cares about what it would say in atmospheres and stuff...its impossible to do 27psi stock plain and simple and no don't say u gotta add 80kpa blah blah blah cause thats just stupid
