hey awesome man... got a quick question.... Did you HAVE to switch out the factory gauge? Cause i heard it doesn't go past 12.5 psi. That true? or did you just switch it out for the heck of it?

Just rent the puller/ installer from ZZP performance. They will ship it to you and it is only like 25 bucks to rent.

Well the boost gauge in these cars is controlled by the pcm. Because of something with voltage and the powerpaq, the guage would read wrong.

It would read and hold 10psi, when I put the mechanical in it reads 17psi.

This has to do with this Psi-Fi setup, not everyones.

I know the gauge isn't maxed out because every now and again it would unstick from 10 and jump all the way up to the line before 15, which is 13.75psi.

Hoping to run into a stock SRT-4, the only one I see around here had work done at Psi-Fi also. 452whp pump gas, over 500whp on race gas. Turbo kit, Cams, Head, Stock bottom end.

We'll see, lol...

thats zzperformance

ZZP's newest pulley puller, ive been told, is a dream to use. very easy to follow instructions. however, if you already have the blower off, it is easier to take to a machine shop if one is near you.

The thing I liked is that I pulled my SC/ pulled off the pulley, installed new one and reinstalled the SC within an hour. Machine shop takes driving and time and I am impatient.

Plus, how do you drive to a machine shop with the blower off?

I used the ASP puller I got from SFPH and it was easy enough to take off. The instructions are a little vague so I wasted some time and energy trying to get it off the first time and then I realized my mistake and got it off very easily.

Glad to see things moving along for this car!!!! I was very tempted to throw a junk yard 2.4 into my 02 Z, and traid it in on a 05-06 SS........ beleave it or not, my payments would actually be lower for the SS (only 1 year left on the 02 though)

I'd deff. pull the blower off, and turbo it in a heart beat

if you dont know anyone with a scanner, i can probably find you someone in your area from the grand prix forum. If youre not scanning, your not being safe.

It really woke the car up. Pulls stronger through entire band. If I go WOT at 2500rpm, it'll go right to 12psi. 3500 and up I get 15+.

3 inch catback should've been here by now, after thats installed I'm going right to dyno.
I'll post the sheets as soon as I get home.

why does your belt look inside out?
