i have a 05ss/sc with a 2.5 pully 60# injectors i get 15 pounds of boost and at around 4000rpm the car sputters and doesnt want to get speed

doesnt sound good. throwing any engine codes? sounds like a subuaru? did you have any cooling mods?

 

Could be a lot of things.

Maybe some more info like on alll of your mods. When this started happening and how it was tuned could help.

 

it could be throwning a code without actually showing you any lights?

 

No exhaust or cooling mods?

 

has megan racing exhaust, intake,was tuned before with a 2.8 with 42#.....fucked up tuned.

 

Maybe the fact that he is running 60's on a 42 tune?!?!?

 

check plugs + gap. go copper.

 

i have hp tuners and i have colder plugs ibeen trying 2 get it to run right but i cant plugs are new about 150 miles on them

 

get someone qualified that can tune you, and get cooling mods before you blow up.

Yeah...no ****. Why not pull a can off of hpt's site for that setup. I'm not sure if there's a 2.5 setup. I mean...with a 2.5 if you don't have an adjustable tensioner you're going to get belt slip like a **** with the stage 2 belt.

 

Mine with stage 2 with stock exhaust was running like **** too, hitting really high boost. (17lbs) Found out it was my clogged cat.

I see you say you have an aftermarket exhaust, but I thought Id throw this out there. Good luck finding whats causing it.

 

i see you mentioned sounds like a subaru...a few weeks ago mine started sounding like that...i took it to the dealer and they couldnt find anything wrong.. im also making like 17lbs of boost with the gm stage 2 setup?

 

probably spark blow out, change the spark plugs and check the gap

stop driving ur a car PM fast98 for a tune and plugs. get the 2.5" off and get a 2.8" until u have more supporting mods

 

plugs and gap are fine runs great till 4000and abouve feels like its not getting fuel it has no cat and i have the smaller belt and the adj tensioner
