Varies based on a whole lot of factors.

depends on a lot of things, the tune, the mods, where you are in the powerband.

so many comments in here based on incorrect assumptions, and a lack of consideration for the many variables involved.

you cannot say X.X pully is safe, X.X pully is not safe, with or without cooling.

a 2.7 in one car, in one location, may be just fine without any cooling at all,
and in fact, it could run cooler IAT2s than another car, in another location, running a 3.06 pully

to many variables to make these sweeping broad statements, and especially to ridicule people if they dont agree with them.

probably hitting somewhere around 1450 at the end of a 1/4 mile run

thats a very broad guess.

hmmm kinda makes you wonder sometimes doesnt it. I dont see why people would WANT to use a 2.7 inch pulley without cooling mods. You would get heat soaked so fast that a stage 2 car would beat you, you would get heat soaked SO fast that it would be pointless...you are just waiting to blow something, and your iat2s would be ridiculous and your injectors would be static.

theres my 2 cents again.

so with just a cxracing heat exhanger is a 2.7 good to go then or what? thats what i plan on doing on top of a little port job to lower the temps too.

in my opinion you need 60lbers, meth, and the 2.7 pulley. A heat exchanger would be nice, and would a dual pass end plate with option b, but meth will help the most to keep those iat2s down. Also, you will need a tune.

With the amount of flow the exhaust port gets, I'd say more like 150,000*-200,000* CELCIUS

*shrug* steps can be taken without messing with the head.

I currently hit the traps at 1350*, on a 13.3 sec pass, (12.0AFR and 25* timing)

I think you added an extra 0 in there bro. And even 15,000* C would be 27,000*+ F. At that temp, your block and exhaust header/manifold would be melting.
