haha no on the 4006 whp. looking for 400whp ish on pump gas. it could be done on a stock motor, but i just like building cars and motorcycles, it's fun

as for the $ amount, there will be approx. $8000 in parts/machine work on the drivetrain

Nice goal. That is what I am hoping with my twincharge. Nothing too crazy..... yet. 8000 is about what I have into it too. Money goes quick when you have to sleeve it, big clutch, etc. GL man!

i bought a tvs kit, drove it about 5-10 miles and took it back off and sold it here. the tvs is a nice upgrade, but it's not 2000$ worth of an upgrade when you can do a turbo conversion for just a bit more and have more options/more power and ALOT more torque.

haha one of the big expenses was the sleeving. I got my sleeves, install, and bore/hone to diamond specs for 1400 locally. Not terrible, but a big chunk of money. Everything else just adds up quick. haha

yep lol... right out of the box, 19 psi this turbo kit put down 330whp and 340wtq. that's about 75wtq more than the tvs would do on pump gas. and once the motor is built, i just press a few buttons and take it up to 25psi+

waiting to install my TVS but, you really didnt feel that it is a decent power adder over the M62...i guess it depends on an individuals goals but wanted you to elaborate on that opinion

I'm a fan of this kit/set up. I'd like to get rid of the intake mani if it was mine though. Can't wait to see finished product.

it was decent, but maybe about $1000 worth of decent not $2000. knowing what the turbo kit offers for just a little bit more money, it's well worth the extra. as for ease of use, no doubt the tvs is easy to bolt on compared to a turbo... it just doesn't come close to the options and power levels you can get with a turbo setup

i'm gonna leave it for now, it should keep the temps more stable with the dual intercooling. if not, i'll put a bigger fmic on and get a vulcan manifold or something
