So my buddy has an 07 ss supercharged that he just constantly has problems with. suspension which he upgraded so the ss/tc and pedders. then brakes so he got drilled and slotted. then a lean code so he had to switch from injen to his stock intake. Now we went to the track everytime his tires would spin it seems like or get high rpms LOW COOLANT comes on. HOWEVER NO CEL.... i find this odd his coolant was barely low what do you guys think? he wants to get rid of it really bad... he has 73k on it

 

The low coolant light is coming on becuase the coolant is low enough where driving normal it wont show the light but as you said when he spins or takes off its moving the coolant around and is reading it as low. Mine done the same thing just put a little more in it lol.

 

And with the intake it needs a tune.

 

he claims his car is running slower ... he is running 14.5s at the track however its a terrible track and hes stage 2 with exhaust but that does help thanks!

 

how did the suspension go bad?
and a car with 70k on it is going to need a few things, like brakes.

give us more info on the car, injectors, pulley, who's stage 2. more info the better.
where was it tuned?

gm stage 2 and calipers both siezed up thats what i mean with brakes and struts leaking..

Yep, that's about what they trap stock. Get him to check his IC pump and plugs.

I know it's not stock. That's why I suggested potential problems. Though if he is getting rid of it, it doesn't matter.
