shaky boost needle

this ever happen to anyone before? normally ive been boosting around 25 psi. now i get about 23 and the boost needle gets very shaky when i get on it real hard which isnt normal. this happened after i took my manifold off to fix my endplate. i even took it all back off and put it back on again to see if i did anything wrong but its still doing the same thing

gauge has gone out most likely. my friends stock gauge in his SRT-4 would do this... it also read that he was spiking high enough to WRAP the guage... put in a good aftermarket autometer gauge and it was fine after that..

It's not a electrical gauge it's mechanical so that means it works directly off the manifold. Bet that sounds stupid. You might have a boost leak now since you removed the manifold and put it back on. Do you have stock exhaust system on that car?

my bad on the misinformation. i have been in two srt4s that had a similar problem so i figured it was normal.

When I first put in my mechanical gauge it did the same thing, make sure everything is tight, seems like its caused from the higher pressure, so its not a heavy leak, probably a clamp that can't hold that much and needs to be tightened. After fixing a vacuum line clamp, my problem was fixed.
