Show me the light

ok so my warranty is finished its kinda a good thing but still a bad thing at the same time. any way my next step is going to be a cooling mod most likely H/E, still thinking about water/meth who knows. Any way my question is after the h/e i want to go stage two since i dont have to worry about the warranty any more what is the best way to go about doing this. also is stage 2 what i should be doing or should i move up.

you should definitely move up to custom setup. Read my thread like one or two down and lemme know if you have a question.

I wouldn't even do a pulley yet. I'd get a set of 42lb injectors, get a new front mounted heat exchanger, get rid of that crappy filler neck for your intercooler system and replace it with a reservoir(hatrickstu's cooling mod if you do a search), then I'd get a header and dp, throw water/meth injection on there, and get a custom tune.

Then later, once you get used to that much power, add a pulley that is sized to your driving style and how much you rev the car. You don't want to overspin the blower.

Reason I'd wait on the pulley is because you want to solve all your heat issues early, so that when you do throw on a pulley, you won't have major heat issues and possibly blow the car up from beating on it too much.

I promise you'll trap over 100mph in the quarter easy with all those mods well before you do a pulley swap.

so my next steps is the h/e, 42lbs injectors, header and dp, then water/meth. where if i get these mods in this order will i need the tune just for the injectors or for the header and dp as well? after all this then move for a smaller pulley if i still feel the need for one.

oh I thought you were talking about me.... j/k sorry

anyway, the injectors require a tune, the H/E, header and dp don't require a tune.

you'll need a tune for the injectors for sure. If you get a mild tune, then you can add the header and dp and when you put the meth on, then get another tune.

Better gains yes, is it worth the money? probably not. The header and downpipe will provide plenty of gains on the exhaust side.
