Simple muffler swap?

Like most every enthusiast, I'd like a little throatier exhaust note. I'm not looking for something obnoxiously loud, just something louder and sounds better than stock. With that in mind I'm not really ready to drop the cash on a full catback system yet, the car is basically stock. I had considered just replacing the stock muffler with a different one. Possible MagnaFlow as I've read they sound quite good. But I had also considered just a little Glass Pack.. Educate me, what would be best for this application?

Oh and bolt on is preferable since the muffler is near the back and so visible, i think it would look best

I'll have to watch these when i get home from work (youtube is blocked). By GMP do you mean GM performance parts?

thanks for the input guys.. like i said i like the magnaflow idea, but i'd rather it just be bolt on. do they make that option? Also can you get these mufflers with a polished tip already or would i have to salvage my factory?

yes gm performance sport exhaust...not touring.

well considering the stock piece is one section... you will need to cut and weld no matter what happens. Wont cost much. I used my factory tip.
