Since the dealer sucks....
Since the dealer sucks....
Ok guys, here's the story.
I took off my TVS, went back to the stock blower.
While re-flashing the stock tune, laptop died, activating the VATS, locking me out of the ECU.
Car would not crank, nothing. Prior to the reflash, it was in perfect running order.
Towed it to the dealer, asked them to unlock the ECM, then reflash the stock tune.
They did that, but now it will only crank, no start.
Any ideas?
They've had it since tuesday...

unplug battery, unplug coil pack harness, remove fuel pump relay, reconnect battery and harness, turn key, plug relay back in. turn key. **** in gas tank, sprinkle area47 fairy dust on top of valve cover and then sell me your suspension.
on a serious note. i have no idea. did you ever get the new ecu in and did a case relearn???

had his happen to me once, i was flashing with trifecta and my laptop turned off randomly Trifecta would not recignize the ecu so i did a write entire with hp tuners and fixed it. I have a lnf though so idk if that would work for you or not. Just an idea, if the dealer reflash wouldnt help it idk if that would.
they reflashed it, but did they do a VTD relearn? if the ECM lost its cal during programming it could have easily forgot the VTD password. hopefully they thought to do that, but you never know. Have they told you anything? any codes? whats VTD data say? is check engine light on steady or flashing? security light, etc......its gonna be hard for you to fix the car if they have it

Maven, Jimbo was here, and we tried to connect via HPT. The VATS light flashed really fast, like an old school dial up modem when we tried to connect.
They told me that it had a fuel pump code, but i'm sure that was left over from me pulling the fuel pump relay to bleed off fuel before swapping injectors.
So far i've said everything they've told me. What is the VTD? I'll call the service department monday with any options you may have. I tried to talk to the tech friday, but they "couldn't get ahold of him"
My car has just been sitting in the back of the lot since wednesday as far as i know.
That's what i was doing... I got locked out. There was no way around that without a tech2. Hence bringing it to the dealer. All they were supposed to do was unlock it and reflash it. I have no idea what is wrong.
No I understand that I was just saying now that its unlocked and somethings still wrong you should take your laptop now that its charged and try retuning it again. One of the times this happen to me I tried using my other lap top to retune it and it wouldn't let me until I tried with the laptop that died on originally.
