Anyone have the part number for just the belt that comes with Stage 2? Not sure if you can buy it seperately yet or not or even if it's got a part number written on the instructions or belt itself. I'm sure they have to have a part number available incase someone's belt takes a crap. I did a search and couldn't find the part number listed anywhere.

who knows, no way to really tell right now unless a stage 2 owner would like to go to the dealer and tell them their belt snapped and they want another one. anyone wanna try it for us?

they're probably too new to work but those are the part numbers from crate engine depot's website in their description of the stage 2 kit

i seriously think someone with a stage 2 kit should go to their dealer in someone else's car and say their belt snapped to see if the dealer can generate a part number for the belt, that way we can be sure.

 

can the part numbers for stage 2 be made into a sticky i think it is great info for all who have stage 1 or 2

I tried the belt number at work and it didn't come up. Have to get ahold of GMPP I guess.

The stage 2 belt is ultra tight. it would fit very nicely on a 2.8. Im glad GM thought of this.

The parts manager had to actually call GMPP and leave a message and tell them to send him one. Some dealers are willing to work with you, and some arent, Im glad mine is.

 

So Silverss did the belt come in yet? When do you think it will be coming in?

ok i was supposed to get the belt yesterday. I called the dealership and they said they would not have an update until the end of this month because once again, on backorder because their is currently none in the US, WTF!

Someone needs to get at goodyear? i think they make the two sided gatorback belts....
