Thats the normal SS/SC fuel rail? Looks suspiciously similar to the 02 eco rail.

Factory rail, only difference are a few fittings which are from the return style fuel kit

Car is slowly coming together, sort of held up trying to get ahold of some motor mount bolts and upper tranny mount bolts as well as this fitting for the clutch line to the transmission. Dealership said it should be in by wednesday. Above is a picture of the valve cover painted.

Parts should be in tomorrow and car may be ready to have at least 1 day at the track before they close for the year. Ordered a pair of these to help out..

Still waiting on a seal. Everything else is in but this one seal that is almost impossible to find.
In the picture Above shows the fitting on the transmission, you can see a little bit of piece of tubing out of that rubber boot that is attached to the transmission. That piece of tubing is suppose to be covered by this seal that we are having a nightmare trying to find.

Below is a picture of the fitting that attaches to the above picture. This fitting connects the clutch line to the transmission. Without the seal it will just shoot oil everywhere.
We ordered a couple more parts hoping to have the seal we need but that won’t be in until Friday at the earliest.

If anyone knows exactly where to get this seal perhaps somewhere local so I can get it together sooner that would be awesome. Otherwise Ill post back once we get that piece.

yea I tried looking to see if a junk yard had my car but no luck. There was one cobalt at the shop that I was going to borrow one from but I don’t think he wants me to take it since he hasn’t responded to my pm’s or SMG’s calls. Looks like I’m just going to have to wait! I mean I’ve already been waiting over a year so a couple days shouldn’t hurt too too much haha

...unless I can borrow yours! haha

I suggest spherical control arm bushings, his rear swaybar, his harness bar, anything John sells.

Ask Fred about the CAB install on my car lol.

Johns stuff is top notch, greatly priced, and the differences each part provides is night and day over stock.

The exhaust still has a lot of crap in it from when the motor blew so we are trying to let it run and blow/burn out all the anti-freeze and oil stuck in there. We might have to take the exhaust off to clean it out. There may be a bunch stuck in the giant resonator i have. So Monday he will finish up the odds and ends and by Tuesday he should be tuning it and driving it.

You bet, the car will be all dyno’d before I even pick it up. I do have a video of the start-up right now but not really worth posting... just a rough idling engine and a bunch of smoke from the exhaust haha.
