Something to think about....
well i have been reading about the about the cobalt SS and have been following the cobalt for about a year now...i don't own one yet, due to i go to college in NY and i'm from CA but back to the point. i have read that some one is making or thought about building a turbo kit for the SS and just adding the turbo to the Charger. to me this is great and sounds like it would work. i mean having both low and top end power would be just great. but i was woundering how much power do you think the car would make if it already had the basic upgraded parts (smaller pully, fuel, Intake/exhaust, Flash ecu ect...) and maybe some GM help? and then maybe how much the car would make if you did the same thing but did the bottom end and some head work and maybe a more powerful ecu?
I would really like to see this car being able to compet with some of the best and being able to become the next big thing for chevy and its entrie to the sport compact secne.

Gravana Tuning is working with GM to make a "dual charged" cobalt ss showcar, it has the normal SC then a TC after that. They are claiming a few hundred HP (sorry can't remember the exact quote, I think it was a bit over 400 or 500?), I seriously doubt that setup will be readily available, however we may see some GM/Gravana performance parts as a direct result of it, i.e. upgraded ECU, exhaust, maybe a turbo to replace the SC or add onto a non-SC cobalt, etc...
It will probly not be a kit but their will be a list of the parts used to make the car so people can buy the parts and make the car. and GM may make the car avalible from the dealer.

All that and Boston Acoustics speakers to top it off!
Gravana will add a Turbocharger ON TOP OF the factory Supercharger, to increase the power to approximately 300HP. In addition to building this monstrous power plant, Gravana will focus on expanding its line of products for the Cobalt, including a vented hood, Teske Design series body kit and several performance products for the standard SS Coupe. Gravana will again rely on companies such as Recaro, Boston Acoustics, Motegi, H&R and Goodyear for marketing partnerships on this project.
