no im not saying that... if a car isnt running properly to begin with and then you change plugs then yes it may help your gas mi. but if you are just gonna change heat ranges well then think about it at wot your getting like 4-5 mpg so dont measure there, which is where/what plugs will effect... so at light throttle (cruise) a different heat range wont effect mpg... jmo

Spark plugs are a funny thing. By going to colder plugs you are changing the tempurature in the combustion chamber. There isn't any easy way to tell how the temps are in the combustion chamber so you kind of have to "guess" as to when you should change the plugs to colder ones. The rule of thumb is approximately every 75 hp you go one step colder.

As far as pulstar plugs go, the theory behind them is good but there isn't much research or testing done on them in F/I cars. After a few people use them for a while then I may consider trying them out.

every engine is different but ide say start at 34 and work your way down dont go past 28, that should be your range but your only makin like 14-15 lbs boost so you shouldent need to go too small... if it were me ide gap at 32 and call it a day (unless there is drivability issues)

ohh and i was speaking of copper plugs NGK 7's... i think iridium's needs to be smaller they start at 28...

do a search there was tons of these threads just months ago...............noobs
