If you need new plugs get Ngk brk7e.

If not, the stock plugs are perfectly fine for a GMS2 car.

You really do not need to drop a step with GMS2. The stock heat range is perfect for the application, but if you must switch the plugs one step cooler will be fine.

i got the NGK BRK7EIX right now with my Stage 3. What should I gap it at? I heard .031 to 0.035 but at the same time I found this old thread saying we can try up to 0.045 and we should also feel power increase with larger gap?

mine is gapped at 0.032 at the moment

colder plugs enable faster heat dissipation after they fire. they are good to have for modified engines to prevent pre-ignition because the combustion is hotter.

the rule of thumb is to go 1 step colder for every 75-100hp gained

somebody correct me if i'm wrong tho...

The plugs run at a lower surface temp (when not sparking) making for one less hot spot in your combustion chamber to cause knock.

And for the gapping. I'm running at 0.032 with my crappier than your ignition and I have no spark break up under boost.

When I was running the M62 and was straight GMS3 I ran the stock plugs at a 0.035" gap. Worked great until I switched blowers, and pullied down. I now run a 0.032" gap with 1-step colder plugs. I know some websites claim a 0.040-0.045" gap, but that is much too large for a blown car. You will def. experience spark blowout with a gap that large. You want the largest gap possible w/o spark blowout. I would try 0.035" if I were you.
