Spec Clutch 2.0 SS Released...Group Purchase?

Spec released the Spec clutches for the 2.0 SS Cobalt. Would anyone be interested in a group purchase?

They are avaliable in the following stages, prices are MSRP (not the possible GP price):
Stage 1 $549
Stage 2 $619
Stage 2+ $659
Stage 3 $619
Stage 3+ $799
Stage 4 $619
Stage 5 $789

You now ask what is each stage? Click the link for the Spec Website page of Stages:

http://www.specclutch.com/csproducts.html

Let see what interest is out there. We would also offer the Fidanza flywheel in this GP.

****, he linked you to that information....

anyway Apparently stage 2 is about as high as you can go without losing alot of the play you have in your clutch. IM assuming stage one is like a direct replacement for OEM and stage 2 is a little tuffer with less play and longer life.

Stage 1 I would consider OEM Style
Stage 2 I would consider a clutch to be used with simple bolt ons
Stage 3 I would consider a clutch for the track, turbo, supercharged, nitrous, ect
Stage 4 would start to be a race only clutch
Stage 5 would be race only

The plus stages have a better life and are more easily driven on the street.

I hope this helps.

Most likely it would be 10-12% off the above prices or 65-75 dollar discount.

I'm interested in the Spec 2 or 2+ clutch and the flywheel. The discount beats Gravana. Price is right....

stage 2 looks perfect for me. stock feel. it'll last me till i get to be "highly modified"....

however, does anyone know what GM would charge for the install? Fucked if I'm doing a clutch in 10 degree weather with snow on the ground...

Why the **** would u bother witha stage II. For a few extra $$ I'll get the semi-race ready stage III. That way I can beat on my bitch all day long. I can finally bang a gear.

Like we said before that is with SPEC and their pricing. It may be the material the use to product the disc for the clutch, or the process that they make the clutch. They are not just going to charge a huge difference for no reason. All we have on this end is the descriptions of what each stage would be used for.
Thanks
