Sputtering sometimes during a hard pull???
My car as well as the one of my friend (mine is stage 2 and his is stock) do sputter sometimes when we are doing a pull in 2nd and sometimes in 3rd gear. Its like a big misfire (vvvvvvvvvvv P vvvvvv) the P is like when a hard hesitation or a sputter occurs. I dont know if you understand me I dont know how to describe it well in english
What would be the cause of this problem? Dammaged spark plugs?
when i had my 06 that was my case, you still running stock plugs? what gap you running? try pulling plugs check the gap and see if they are all the same, if you find one that is off jus re gap and see if that will fix your problem
I don't really think it has anything to do with the body that holds the motor lol. Ion's and SS's both have issues if not well maintained, improper plugs, improper gap, clogged fuel filter/air filter, etc. I suggest finding someone with hptuners and scanning the car so you know whats going on for sure.

If your refering to me I was just saying my friends have ss's so he knew I was refering to all lsj's lol. And by us I didnt mean ions, I meant my friends and I lol
my vote is misfire or knock. it happened occasionally to me and every other SS i have seen on the GM tunes, regardless of what plugs i was using or their gap.
its just a minor glitch in the tune. dont worry unless it starts happening frequently.

Thanx all for your answers!!!
I may sound like a ******* but how are you changing the gap??? I understand and know a lot of things on our cars but damn, I feel like I HAVE to know how to reduce the gap between the plugs, I dont understand at all how you do this!!! I don't even know how to access the spark plugs :O Can someone show me a tutorial or are there any tutorials on the forum which show all of this??? I will order soon the OTT Stage 1 and I will have to know how to do the case relearn and how to put the new spark plugs in my car. Despite Im not very good at mechanics I love to do mechanics and I always love to learn more. I justly want to install all myself the OTT Stage 1.
By the way, for those who have the OTT Stage 1 and that had the GM stage 2 just before, do you feel any big difference??? With a full Hahn exhaust, dual pass intercooler end plate and the stu mod, I should see like a 30 hp increase... I don't even know if I will choose the Hahn full exhaust (header to catback) or a CTI setup. The CTI setup that OTT sells is almost 2 times less for me than the full Hahn exhaust setup that Turbo Tech Racing sell!!!
