Before anything im out of town working for a while and im on through my phone im pretty sure this has happened to someone and its posted here but its hard to search through this phone lol

Well anyways I made friends with another guy who has same year cobalt as me 06 SS SC with airbox mod and exhaust tip like me he's car is doing 10 psi mine only 5psi?? What could this be I never new stock was higher or em I normal? New with these ss

 

bypass valve stuck open

 

Where is this and how do I fix it? Is there a how to here

 

the black looking thing on the s.c the has the two hoses on it. the little arm that is on the bottom of it goes tot he butterfly on the sc so it lets air bypass the rotors of the sc so it dont create heat so much. Make sure the arm is all the way up since itll have vacuum in it. Also if you have more issues take the sc off and sand the bypass valve hole where the butterfly sits and sand it down so it wont get stuck

K then if ure cars not boosting correctly verify ure belt is not slipping. Ure solonoid isnt bad and veridfy ure ic pump is working look for boost leaks as well
