Only time I had to go back to stock is after my cavy was totaled. I took off everything I put on it and kinda left the stock stuff there as is. I don't think the airbox hidden away in the fender is gonna be the first thing they see when someone looks at your car. So I think it'll be pretty safe if you would ever have to go back to "stock mode"

There actually is one...but it's gotten buried. Someone made both an official intake and official exhaust thread. No idea why they weren't stickied, but oh well.

Intake thread
Exhaust thread

Both of those intakes just look peiced together. The welds on that JBP are fugly. Sorry guys but Injen has the looks on lock, maybe not the fitment though...

Isn't 3.0" a bit excessive? Seems no more than 2.5" would be necessary, no? Just a thought.

if i ever need to go back to stock (not that i will being that i financed the car), ill just put one up at a junkyard or order one. hell, cant be more than $50-75. so, itll still end up being cheaper than the injen priced at 220.00. i have more pics of the box, i just edited post and put them in

Isn't the fujita 3 inches (actually a bit more I think)

At any rate the size of the fender well hole is the limiting factor as to why so many are less than 3 inches in diameter. If you want a one peice intake you need to be like 2.75 inches.

if u want to do teh airbox mod.. just get a 3.5" AEM or K&N (preferably the dryflow) cone filter. dont cut the airbox at all and just slip it on the lip and tighen and keep the bottom off. to top it all off, the bottom fits with the cone filter so if u want to take it to the dealer u can keep ur filter on just screw the bottom back on. this is what i did on mine, and u can def hear it whine. no CEL, no problems, no cutting.

there is a feature on this forum called the search engine. it allows us to type in keywords such as "cel" "intake" "fujita" or any compination of such, and it searches all the forums for information containing those keywords. I bet if you tried using it you would find some useful information to your query.
