stage 2 install ?
dammit. do i have to have a torque wrench or can i just guess how tight i want the bolts back on the sc? i dont have a puller or a press... what is the ghetto way to get the pulley off? is the stock held on by one bolt?
Someone should post they're invoice from a stage II install online, so we can print it off and prove to different dealerships that they are trying to rip us off. I have a buddy who paid $340 CND for a Stage II job. Ridiculous!!!!
IF the blower is hot and you slap the pulley end in ice water for a minute, you just tap, tap tap on it with a rubber mallet and a little lube wouldn't hurt either!
And don't worry about the blower that thing is solid and built for heat!!!!!!
BTW don't submerse the whole blower in ice water after the oven, just the pulley end, and do it gradually.
Oh and you'll need mittens for that blower.
It may sound far fetched but it worked for me.

I did it 300 degrees for 20 mins, and then iced pulley for five mins. My buddy helped me he did it with his balt. He told me the heat expands the shaft and the pulley. When you ice it, the shaft contracts faster then the pulley thus giving you valuable micrometers of room and then I popped it off in about 10 knocks with a mallet.
After the stage II I suggest the stage III from www.cobaltperformanceparts.com it kicks some major ass when combined with 100 octane fuel, though you will need a CAI and some deep breathing 2.5-3" catback to take full advantage. Just last week I beat an STI.
I will say that the Hot/cold method is indeed 100% ghetto, you are better off taking it to GM. If you do it yourself they give you a 12 month warranty. If you take it in you get 36 months. To shave off some cost read the how to and put the injectors in yourself, its quick-n-easy plus when you take in your car for the pulley/belt/ecu flash they will only bill you for a stage 1-2 upgrade as opposed to the full blown Stage 2 cost. It'll probably save you 100 bucks.
The bonus there will be that you did half the work and still get a 3 year warranty to boot.
