ha not to mention dangerous. but yea ive seen cobalts with 2.6's on em and they arent pushing any better than a 2.8. it gets pretty pointless lower than 2.7. but im to nervous to go lower anyways

Yes itll work fine but you cant do long pulls as you will see igh iat2s. if i were u id get the 2.6 hub pulley from zzp I will tell you why i had one for two years, and i never blew my car up nor did i ever have a internal issue. IT WAS FINE. just the thing is when it gets colder id recommend changing to a larger pulley so you dont over boost and do over do it, unless you think you can handle it.

Yea like doing a second gear pull then third ect. but thr most cooling mods u get will be best results and is safer... U ont have to have anything foor a pulley down but to be reliable and safe and to do it correctly you want to grt the whole dealio with i..

I know man. I wasnt trying to come off as being rude either. It's hard to express information on the internet sometimes.

I can't wait to start piecing together my kit though I am still nervous about installing it. I will be able to research it a bunch more before I do it I guess. I am assuming it would cost a rediculous amount to have a garage do it. :P

Ok more questions and change this from stage 2 to stage 3 questions. Im looking to just buy the ZZP stage three outright instead of piecing it together. Here is what im looking at:

Year: 2006
Model: Cobalt SS

Color: Black 2.8" (decided against the 2.7, everyone find this smart?)

Core Charge: -50.00 I am doing my own tuning (is this right if I am getting someone to tune it for me?)

Option 1: +35.00 Shorter belt(should I do this or oversized tensioner pulley? It is no extra charge. I want reliablity plus performance considering its my DD)

Option 2: +60.00 S3 Heat Exchanger(going with this because I heard it is good for reliability and is the best and biggest you can buy with the best fitment)

Option 3: 60lb Fuel injectors

Anyone suggest anything? I will be buying the kit soon so input is much needed.

sounds like a good setup. nothing really different between the 2.8&2.7 imo. custom tuning with dataloggin' is the way to go. shorter belt.

might want to think about header/dp, cai too.

Ben- I bought the car with a "full" 3" vibrant exhaust. I dont know if it is header back or catback. I havent had a reason to get it up on a lift yet to see. But regardless I want to get a wideband so I will have to get a DP with the port.

carstedt- Ill pm.
