yeah no doubt. I"m looking at about $550 for the stage 3 kit, $450 for the mid-length header/downpipe & $450 for a custom tune...good bit of cash flow to be spent. But I'm sure the HP/torque gain is a good time haha

To the op: these guys are giving pretty good info. Reliability isn't much of a problem with these cars.

If it were my car, id do GM stage 2 & just leave it there. You'll love the power increase.

It's a local shop around where I live. But he told me it'll be $200 for the tune, but around $450 if I wanted a couple hours of dyno time.

yeah I have a Borla catback. I think it's 2.5" but I'm not positive. It was on the car when I bought it.

The Borla is 2.25"....

It's the same catback as the GMPP catback.

Could I run a 2.9 on 90 octane? That's all I can get up here in Alaska?

Really man? I've been searching my ass off, pming people, emailing people and more searching. I'm trying to do everything I can to find an answer without starting a new thread. I'm in Alaska there's not much support for stuff like this like there is down south. I live here I'm not from here. Tell you the truth I hate this frozen ass state and it's crappy 90 octane and expensive ammunition. There's only a few months of they year where I can actually open up a car on a road with no ice on it. I just got my ss in November and this summer I'd really like to be able to haul ass with a zzp stage 2 kit but I can't figure out what I need to do since there's only 90 octane. But whatever I'll go search more so I don't have to worry about being assaulted by Internet tough guys for asking a question. Thanks anyway.

assaulted?!?

I'm tough off of the internet to....

I would stick with a 3.0-3.1 pulley if u only have 90 octane gas.

You will prob see knock in the upper rpms with a 2.9 unless correctly tuned for your mods.

The knock will pull timing, and reduce overall potential performance gain from the smaller pulley.
