Stage II 05 - Need Input

I have 05 SS w/45K on it in great shape no mods; all stock.

I took it to GM dealer here in ohio (Pat Obrien) for install of stage II. I picked it up and it ran like crap re: worse pick-up and pull than before. I immediately took it back and told them dont hand me the keys until it is done right. Any suggestions as to what normally can go wrong with GM standard stage II kit install? Thanks for help.

did they tune your pcm? I'd ask what they did any have them go through everything they did. Sounds like it is the tune IMO

Yes, that was the first thing I asked the guy but he was no tech and all were gone. So, i said check PCM tune, check injectors and go from there. I think you are right. I bet the pcm flash did not take or got screwed up.

you did the right thing by taking it back, don't be like these other punks around and let them screw you over. you pay for a service, they provide it or don't charge you

I drove it less than one mile and I knew they screwed up; unreal. They, GM workers, wonder why folks take their money elsewhere? Oh, I know because they are fking lazy. Due the damn job and do it right. Don’t tell me when I call the "tech drove it and it is running fine". I told the service manager "your tech is smoking fking crack!". Jesus, what the hell is wrong with people. Do they think **** just leaps into existence and gets done by the cosmic wave of the magic preverbal wand? Hell fking no you have to work and pay attention and be diligent. Not with your finger up your asss listing to your damn IPOD and texting some dumb asss bitch who cant fking walk and chew gum at the same time.

Here is the difference. I bought 1998 corvette and took it to Dynotech Engineering (aftermarket professionals) in Fort Wayne, IN 7/04. They dropped an LS2 crate engine with their custom cam packaged dropping 410 RWHP and 400 RWTQ and I have driven the shitt out of it to this day w/NO PROBLEMS!

It's not required

It sounds to me that they didn't even put the stage 2 reflash on it

It's not part of the package. Sounds like they BSed you to add some extra labor charges on the bill

There's nothing wrong with it when the tune is actually put on the GM kits. Why is it that there have been a lot of people who have had drivability problems with ZZPs tune then?

I did much research, a lot on this very website, and the GM kit got very good reviews. Its not the kit its the labor installing it re: simple laziness.

Update

Ok here is the latest:

I received call from serv mgr this Monday. He stated the control arm bushing, both sides, were installed correctly and the stage II kit was installed correctly and the PCM flashed with the kit's program. He then said the front drive shaft was bad and that GM would take care of it for me a notcharge; I wonder why?. I picked up the car today and it is running much better than before. I am going to Backstreet Performance here in Medina OH and get a dyno tune and have them recheck the dealers handywork to be safe.

Thanks for the input.
