Stage II Sold OUT!!!
This is a severe noob question but I'm going to ask it anyway cause I need to know. Right now I have a stock '06 SS/SC in which I put 87 octane. If I was to get the Stage II would I need to put 93 octane or could I still use 87 octane? I'm a poor college student so the extra money in gas could be killer. I apologize in advance for this noob question...thanks all.

yes, stage 1 and 2 require a minimum of 91. if you don't use it you will not only lose perfomance but you'll get pinging from your valves, and you don't want that.(tiny explosions inside of your motor.)
If you do any mod you should bring the octane up to 91 imo. The dealer brought in a corvette yesterday that someone bought (I work at a gas station lol). Anyway, before filling it up, I made sure they filled it up with 93...I didn't say anything at first to see what they asked for but turns out, they asked for 93.
I was happy and asked if I could drive it before they gave it over to the owner and he said no
