Sti Mod

I have a problem tonight I was driving to go out to eat and I accelerated up to around 40 45 you know normal light acceleration and about a half mile down the road i heard a pop and my check engine light started flashing and the car sounded funny so i pull over and sure enough the car sounds like a sti or that im cammed no dipstick came out but i took the oil cap off and there is air coming through there and some smoke I couldnt see the color because it was pitch black out but there was air definatly coming out of the oil cap and it seemed like somewhere around the top of the supercharger. So i left it in the parking lot and Im getting it towed to my house tommarrow so I can take a better look at it. I was just wondering what you guys think it might be. and the past few weeks there has been a ticking noise that does not go away when you rev the engine so I just assumed that it was the injectors. anyway i have a 07 ss/sc with stage 2 and a 2.9 pulley with full exhaust and a dual pass with a C.A. heat exchanger. So if you guys can let me know what you think it might be I would appreciate it and I will update in the afternoon tommarrow with some more info. Thanks for your help.

I thought that a 2.9 was safe on a stage 2 tune you guys really think it is the piston. maybe it could be the headgasket or intake manifold gasket or are you guys almost 99% sure its #4

sounds like misfires, and backfires thru exhaust. start with finding out the codes and check the plugs before yanking a head off
