Stock LSJ E47 tune

What would I need on my end if I was to try finding somebody that can tune me for E47? If i'm meeting up with somebody that has HPT, I only need my car at that point, correct?

And I looked through the forums, but didn't see any consistency; do we have any real #'s on increases with this tune/mod?

Why would you do E47 with an LSJ? Swap in the correct injectors and do Full E85.

yea tune for full E85

E47 is mixing and needs to be exact which E never is.

get some 80's too

there is noithing wrong with doing an e47 mix and it dose not have to be an exact mix every time just close and the ss/tc guys do it a lot op go do it and enjoy

I had started out thinking E85, but it seems a large advantage in E is being able to up your timing; as I'm near stock (air-box mod), I wasn't sure if I would get the same advantage.

A few posts claim that there is a 20-30% loss in MPG when you're running E, does that seem realistic? and worth the gains when stock?

Thanks, by the way.

****, I knew about the injectors, because of the seals and needing higher flow rate right? Just forgot to list them.

for the time/energy to mix that crap ... just suck up the shitty mpg and fill an go

im my opinion it takes a pretty skilled tuner to dial something in that will be good for anything from E70-E85 ... now you mix the additional mixing into the equation it just gets fuzzier

just my $0.02 ... just go full E85

I have no problem going with E85, just didn't think I had enough supporting mods to make it really worthwhile. thanks for the advice guys.

Some state that E47 will give you the same power gains as full E85, but the SS/TC guys have to run E47 because our fueling wont keep up with the demand of full E85.

However, If I still owned my LSJ I would just go full E85 since mixing just seems like a hassle. 80# injectors and a solid tune and you are g2g.

This is just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure this is the way I'll go. then all I need is somebody that has HPT for an LSJ that would be willing to work w/me on tuning, correct?
