Stock Manifolk / GMPP Manifold

If the manifolds are close to the same, why not remove the stock manifold and get it ported poished? Is this possible? I shop should be able to smooth out the inside. This could be cheaper then buying an aftermarket part? What you all think?

Yeah you can do that too the only thing is GM hones it to certain specs so if a shop did it they would just be winging it. Either way it is possible.
