What he said. Go to ZZPerformance.com and order a new downpipe. Catless DP would be cheapest.

Deleting your cat is fine. I've ran mine cat-less for the last 3 years.

You can also do this... the cheapest option... BUT, if you wanna get a little bit of performance out of it, I'd get an aftermarket downpipe... the stocker has a few restrictive points on it.

You'll have better performance without the cat... better flow. The cat is only there to burn off extra gas from the engine... emissions. It doesn't help the engine perform any better... in fact, it is a restriction in the exhaust... so eliminating it will help out, as I already said.

ok. thanks for the advise man.ill be defenately doin that asap. do you think thats probably why the car was kinda pausing at high rpms as well? cuz i did notice that the car wasent running well when it started boosting more and hearing a weird wistle like in the down pipe which was the cat.

Yeah... the exhaust isn't able to properly flow through because of the clogged cat, causing excessive back pressure... causing the loss of performance.

How many miles are on your car? I'm having a similar overboost but mine doesn't seem to affect performance at all and mine isn't bucking or anything like that. My car only has 19k miles and I have a hard time believing my cat is clogged.

i believe i posted on ur other threat bout that issue. my car has 57k miles already but this is my sec cat so that means am goin for the third lol. i mean it doesnt seem like ive had alot of luck with this freakin cats thing, but ive also seen many people as well that had the same issue. even tho the firt time i took it to the dealer for the cat issue they did mentioned to me that these cars were having issues with cats and that many had been repaired. and yea for mine it does affect performance specially at high rpms.
