Stroker Crankshafts

Who wants a drop in forged crank for their LSJ/LNF? Stroke would be the same as the 2.4l, it would accept LSJ/LNF flywheels. Made from billet 4340. Price would be about $1650 to you.

The point is more displacement=more power. It's just something that I looked into, and wanted to get some feedback on. A 2.4 crank isn't a direct swap because of the flywheel and it isn't forged.

Yes, I agree.
But how many people even build strokers?
Also, how many people have had problems with the 2.4 cranks?

I think it would be cool if you did come out with a crank.. but I just feel you could put more money/time/effort into something else.

So instead of using a mix of parts and and LE5 block to make a stroker, you would just use a 2.0 block, rods and pistons and use this new crank?

Why does someone have to have a problem in order to upgrade or build bigger? That makes no sense.

And so?

Let's discourage this vendor because not every 17 year old wants one. Right?

So, since you don't want one they shouldn't make it. How incredibly short sighted. And will their R&D or time invested be coming form your pocket? Why do you care if they make or sell 1? 10? 100? What's your interest in this? You a stock holder? You a partner in the business?

On a more macro level, why ever would you discourage a vendor from putting more products on the market for this platform? Why would you be so short sighted?

Because maybe if they didn't invest time into this, then they could invest time into something that would interest more people.

Man, every time a vendor comes up with something some little twirp like you comes alone "I don't like it, don't make it. Make what *I* want, and I'm not going to pay a lot for that muffler!"

Serious dude. Stop being so self centered. Other people are interested it in. Read the posts here.
