Super on a Solstice

Just wondering if it was possible to take the blower off my 05 SS and move it over to a 06 pontiac solstice.

I would think it would fit the 2.4 as it does on the 2.4 cobalts. dunno if it would clear the hood but the SS m62 is kinda small.

the biggest issue i can see is fitment in the engine bay. the throttle body is going to point in the firewall, im not sure if the blower manifold will clear the frame/motor mounts.

ohhhh yes good point. just have the intake go through the firewall and up above the windshield

hmm you'd prolly have to get a TC or wait for the aftermarket SC.

I checked on the Solstice forum, they seemed to think you either had to put it in the fender, or dent/remove part of the firewall. Also said there is quite a bit more modifications that would need be done to the engine before it could fit.

hmmm yeah i mean its fully possible as its done on 2.4 cobalts. Its just fitment is gonna suck since you have to mod it.
