ok i think i asked this before and forgot what i needed or if it was possible
so i have the shitiest luck ever my motor seized
and this kid wants to buy it even with a normal 2.2 or 2.4
but was wondering if this is posible
i have the 06 cobalt ss sc
and wanting to put a normal cobalt engine since they are cheap and just sell the ss running to this kid like that let me know please i cant seem to find any lsj motors so i guess try the other way if it aint to hard thanks!

 

its not that easy, the lsj engine management wont run a 2.2l or 2.4l. to make it work your going to have to swap in the pcm and wiring harness that matches the motor you put in, then do some tweaking with hp tuners to get everything to work. now add in the fact you need to change the tranny and put the f23 in, along with axles and clutch. its just not worth it.
