I have an 06 cobalt ss/sc no g85 package. I wrecked my tranny a couple weeks ago on the dragstrip and was wondering if i need to do anything special to swap a lsd in? i work for a gm dealer and its only a couple hundred dollar diff to just get a lsd over the stock tranny. Anyone here tried this?

 

havent tried it but i'd do it, i mean why the hell not lol! its probly the most important thing to have

haha thanks...my new clutch and flywheel came in today and i ordered the lsd tranny yesterday should be here in about a week or so but i got thinking today and wanted to make sure its going to work lol

 

i dont think you will have a problem with it, goodluck

 

its a direct replacement both ways (lsd/nonlsd)

 

Yeah if it's the full tranny, it's no problem.
