Personally modifing an existing header to make it better is a waste of time and resources. A mere band-aid for not doing it right the 1st time. It can lead to mild success if done absolutely right, but doubtful it will for the most part. 90% of the people will probably cause more harm than good for sure.

Now if you did your hand port work first, enlarging the ports in critical areas before you sent it to be extrude honed, then you might have something. A decent header would still flow much better though, IMHO.

just make a decent header! i dont care who or what its made out of as long as it lasts a few years, cost isnt outrageous (see CTI) and makes power!
