Give us a solid price for the burns and let us decide.

Personally modifing an existing header to make it better is a waste of time and resources. A mere band-aid for not doing it right the 1st time. It can lead to mild success if done absolutely right, but doubtful it will for the most part. 90% of the people will probably cause more harm than good for sure.

Does this mean you are having a header desinged using a bruns collector?

Perhaps some could perform that kinda work on a stock manifold and see how well it responds. Last I heard the GMPP Extruded/Honed is only smoothed at the start of the primaries and the end of the collector.
The way extrude honing works is by forcing an super thick, abrasive fluid - sort of like playdough mixed with lapping compound - through the entire length of the port (in this case manifold) using a high pressure turbine pump. This process removes a small amount of metal (the longer it's run, the more it removes). Most importantly, it abrades the metal in the direction of flow, smoothing out the imperfections in casting while leaving the microscopic groves left by the honing process in the direction of airflow. Going behind the extrude honed manifold with a grinder that leaves grooves axial to the flow will reduce the airflow significantly through increased turbulance. In short, it would screw it up.

Now if you did your hand port work first, enlarging the ports in critical areas before you sent it to be extrude honed, then you might have something. A decent header would still flow much better though, IMHO.

Thumbs up

just make a decent header! i dont care who or what its made out of as long as it lasts a few years, cost isnt outrageous (see CTI) and makes power!

you will never sell 50 headers unless there sold for liek a 150 dollars in which ide buy 50 myself and sell them to local LSJ's
