Well i took my car in to get the intercooler pump fixed and well lets just say wasnt a good experiance. Check my other post youll know what im talking about. Well all said and done they didnt even fix the pump they said it was ok so ill let you guys take a look and let me know what you think.

This is about 3 minuts of me sitting in my driveway after i got home. All normal driving i didnt jump on it or anything. Let me know what you think. All my mods are in my sig below.

lol mine would say the same coolant temp as urs if I did that...
I always worry about it cause ive seen 235 and no fans came on so i turned on the heater and it went down quickly...
but yeah mine stays at 181-185 driving....at a light it will start to get up there pretty quick..i stop light will put me at around 208...and it goes on from there..

oh yeah I used to have a 2.2 back in 07....it started to do the same @ around 20k miles.

since hes talking intercooler pump, i say he was talking about his IAT2 temp yes idling they do get that high if you pump was dead youd see upwards of 180-200 degress after a WOT pull you can clearly see if its working or not. take they cap off is coolant circulating?

That is probably right. BUT...

The OP is looking at his intake air temps 2. Which is the temperature of the air after the supercharger.

Your referring to the temp of the air in the intake.

your fans need to kick on way earlier. I've never seen that coolant temp in my ss. fans on full at 196*
And that IAT2 is pretty hot but considering your coolant temp and that you were probly idling for a long time, its not that unheard of

Ok thanks so there are 2 different intake air temp sensors and the one im reading is the intake tube not in the intake manifold.. Gotcha

I retract my previous statement. just read what you posted about 170 during cruise and that is not right for a stage 2 pulley. Your I/C pump **** the bed. knock on it with a hammer to get it started again then replace it asap.

I took it in and they said it was fine I have to take it back to the dealer and I already did the hammer trick. Dealer left my moon roof open in the rain and didn't clean it up all the way so I'm taking it back in and telling them to change it. Also I noticed my fans don't turn on very often. Also I have an interceptor and I know it has the option to turn the fans on but does it work for our cars. Could I have a problem with my fans? Thanks for the input
