Threw A Code
Threw A Code
Ok let me tell the story. My car wouldnt build over 5 lbs of boost so i took it back and they replaced some sensor and that wasnt it so then they replaced a bypass valve. And that was it, it hauls ass now but when i picked the car up it had the check engine light on and the tech told me it will be ok just bring it back next week and they will fix the cel. So i said ok and took it to a Parts House. They read my car and said it was a P1182 (Fuel Air Metering). I Searched on here but all came back for cars that are using custom tunes..... Should I be worried?

The most common thing to set the code are vacuum leaks or incorrectly routed vacuum hoses.Other causes are contamination or debris on the sensing elements in the probe of the MAF/IAT sensor.IMO this is where I would look first for abnormalities.
