If you want to eliminate wheel hop go with the ottp rotated tranny mounts. The inserts are just a band-aid to the problem, they really aren't worth wasting your money on.

I haven't really looked into them much, I just went with what was guaranteed to solve the problem. Ottp's rotated tranny mounts SOLVE wheel hop completely. Stage 2 rotated tranny mounts, save up for them, trust me bro you won't regret it.

I'm not sure why everyone dogs on the poly mounts. I have been running them for a year now. And I don't have any wheel hop what so ever. And thats running a TVS. I will admit if they ever crapped out I probably would get the rotated mounts, but only because everyone raves about them.

Oh and since I have had them on for a while I have basically no vibrations at all. At first it was crazy but now that they are broken in the car drives great. Just like stock but no hopping.

So I wouldn't call them a bandaid. I've never worn a bandaid for over a year. So I would call this a cheap solution. I have yet to experience a single problem with them. So until I do I see no reason to drop all that money for the OTTP mounts.

the rotated mount is billet. The mount is rotated in its housing to align some ****, which ELIMINATES wheelhop.

urethan inserts are just that.. they arent the entire mount.. they are just inserts that you use in your stock mount. The rotated mounts compmletely replace the stock one. These just reduce wheel hop (some say it was eliminated, but the rotated mounts surpass the performance of these).

The inserts will cause some cabin vibrations that can get quite annoying to some... The rotated mounts have near (if not completely) stock vibrations.

I have said in the past that my poly mounts have eliminated my wheel hop... And they did on street and strip, but on street tires.

I run drag radials all the time and on street no wheel hop, but on track I get wheel hop.

From what I have heard about these mounts, save up and get them.

wink- dude dont even complain haha. try putting the ottp kit and meth in your shopping cart, and then going to get subway for lunch, end up getting a tow because you need a new motor mount, axle, axle bearing, axle shaft mount, and trans mount. then taking that shopping cart and switching it to all upgraded mounts, and luckily getting the dealer to cover the axles and bearings...
its like a FML kinda thing
