First of all i have tried looking through the sight and searched it on the internet, but cant seem to find anything. My question is what kind of trans fluid does my 05 cobaltss/sc use? I remember using some type of saturn fliud when i first changed it but now im told it takes dextron 5 atf. What fluid does it take or what do you recommend?

 

Go to the dealer. I believe it is a saturn fluid. They are like 15 a bottle but you only need like 1.6 quarts. Someone may know of an alternative but this is what I used.

wow that is retarded! everytime i have gone to the dealer they say it is the saturn stuff...i would stick with that

 

Thats what im doing i called a saturn dealer and will go get it later
