All in all though bang for your buck you can't beat the airbox mod because it essentially gives you a CAI for 1/4 the price. The extra diameter of the CAI isn't giving you much if anything because the restriction is not in the CAI but in the supercharger.

For the airbox mod you just need a new conical filter for the intake. I suggest the AEM dryflow. Check out the How To section on this forum for instructions on how to do it. All in all it takes about 20 minutes and the skill level of 1-10 is a 2.

not to sound like a moron but i just joined the forum and i have no clue what ur talking aobut when u say how to section s oi know i dumb but some help is needed

william honestly dont waste your money on an intake. you could buy you a header for the price of an intake and see a little more gains and better sounding exhaust note. but yeah sorry you had to be put through that whole spelling and grammer thing, some people are just ignorant. i know what ya going through because my best friend is mexican and we deal with it quite a bit but good luck with your car.

Yes the intakes hit on the 07's ABS hard lines off the controller. It hits the rubber intake coupler really bad and mashes it up from underneath. Nothing much can be done about it. I just left it that way smashed from the underside from 3 of the ABS brake lines.

Under our forum index is a list of the different topic sections. We have a "How-To" section, that gives instruction on Cobalt-related maintenance tasks.

bump
The AEM intake will fit the 07's... it's the only one that will. This is b/c the AEM just replaces the stock airbox... and not the tubing that runs to it. Other intakes replace the whole thing... and won't work.
